The World Health Organization recently recommended that each pregnant woman should have four scheduled antenatal visits prior to labour and delivery. ANC care contribute to a healthy pregnancy, safe delivery, and healthy baby. It helps in early dictation and management of potential complication for both mother and baby. Service provided during this visit includes health check –ups, advice on nutrition screening and treatment for infection. Encourage early and regular attendance as soon as they know they are pregnant.
